Acquiring a new skill is like adding something new to your already refined platter. While you are free and looking to learn something new or even polishing up what you already know doing courses is a good way out. Check out sites like Udemy, Skillshare, Coursera. There are a lot of channels on YouTube as well that are offering free classes. I also feel this is the time when you can develop a skill-set that can help you in the future.

2. COOKING

COOKING

While cooking is not everyone’s cup of tea but a little bit of trying won’t harm anyone. For all the cook lovers this is the time to practice and get out the chefs in them by making the dishes they always wanted to but could never because of no time. Again, YouTube is the biggest pool of resources for free, enjoyable, easy recipes.

4.CONNECTING WITH LONG-LOST FRIENDS

CONNECTING WITH THE LONG LOST FRIENDS

Although quarantine has made it difficult for us to physically meet our friends, go out or enjoy the gossip sessions but we can also use this time to connect with them via facetime, zoom call etc. Video calling your friends and discussing your joys/sorrows is more refreshing and revitalizing than you can imagine!

5. MOVIES

MOVIES

Who doesn’t like watching movies and entertaining themselves with something fun, exciting, action or rom-com that takes you to a world of fantasy for some time ?

We all do, isn’t it! Plan on a Saturday or Sunday movie night with your family with some popcorns to bring on that theatre-like feel and vibe.

How many of us plan to start/read or finish a book but that day never comes and the book stays in the cupboard for months to pass by? So, here is the time to unleash the bookworm in you and to start the journey of reading a book.

Set achievable targets of reading one page a day or even half paragraph whatever suits you but be consistent so that it turns into a habit. It is no doubt one of the best sources to enhance your knowledge.

7. INTROSPECT

Introspection, A way to examine one’s thoughts or feelings is one practice we hardly give any time to. We are always in the haste to be the best and outshine the rest that we just don’t find time for ourselves! Use this time to introspect which will help you understand and give insight into what you like & dislike, your core values & strengths and also your weakness that you can work on. Come out strong, firm, and more aware of yourself from this .

8. RELIVING THE OLD DAYS
