Firstly…what is Android 21?

Android 21, also known as Artificial Human 21 is a villain in the Dragon Ball FighterZ video game. Android 21 made her debut appearance in 2018. She is by far the most dangerous villain ever. Moreover what makes her special is that she is created using the genes of other powerful characters. Superhuman strength, endurance and speed are some of her qualities.

What makes her a straight-up badass is that she turns her enemy into food items! That’s right! Now such a powerful character will obviously attract a significant audience.

1. Dr Maki Gero/ Android 20

In the vast series of Dragon Ball, Dr Gero acts as the root. He is the creator of the android world. Without him, there never would have been any androids. Dr Gero was one of the scientists who worked in the robotics engineering section of the Red Ribbon Army, creating military machinery and various Androids. Although there was an attack on the army. Dr Gero is supposed to have survived it. He decides to take revenge on Son Goku and hence creates Android 16, 17, 18 and 19.

His greatest creation is the Cell, another Android. He is such a madman that he turned himself into one of the androids (Android 20) with the help of Android 19. He is the root of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

2. Videl/The Great Saiyawoman

Videl is also a fictional character from the Dragon Ball media franchise. She is also created by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Android 21. What is unique about her name is that it is an anagram of the word devil. That is quite significant as her father’s name is Mr Satan! Videl is characterized by more heroic traits and displays admirable fighting potential.  She is the love interest of Gohan (son of San Goku) and plays an important role during the story arc where he is the lead character of Dragon Ball. The two establish a settled lifestyle and later have a daughter named Pan.

3. Cell/Bio Android

The Cell is a fictional character and a major villain in the Dragon Ball Z manga. He makes his debut in the chapter, The Mysterious Monster, Finally Appears. The Cell is an evil artificial life form, created by merging cell samples from major characters in the series. Michael Zupan assessed Cell as the Dragon Ball villain with the most buildup, writing, “The Z Fighters throw everything they have at this character, and just when you think he’s beat… he transforms into something more powerful.” He is a powerful villain in the manga series.

Toriyama, the creator of Cell and most of the other Android characters, expressed some kind of regret regarding the design of Cell, calling it tedious to draw all the little spots on his body.

4. Majin Buu/Bibidi/Uub

Normally spelt, Majin Boo is the final antagonist in the Dragon Ball manga series. The character has three different appearances: Majin Boo, Bibidi, and Uub. Bibidi was killed and Boo remained hidden. Manga author, Toriyama stated that when creating a villain in Dragon Ball, he would try to make them different from the earlier ones. Although it was difficult to achieve that, he was pleased with Majin Boo.

Majin Boo has several different forms, each with a different appearance and personality, however, all are pink creatures (with the exception of Pure Evil Majin Buu, which is dark grey). Buu can also heal damaged beings and can absorb other organisms by enveloping them with his body or eating them, the latter done by using his signature attack that turns people into food such as candy. A feature of Android 21.

5. Zamasu/Goku Black

Within the series, Zamasu is originally an apprentice Supreme Kai from Universe 10. His plan is to attain supreme power and wipe out all mortal beings. To complete his plan, he joins forces with that future timeline’s version of Zamasu, who is made indestructible. Zamasu is depicted as a green-skinned humanoid with grey eyes and a white mohawk. He gains Goku’s appearance after switching bodies with him, with only slight physical differences.

After Goku Black merges with his alternate future self via the use of a pair of matching Potara earrings, the result is the even more powerful Fused Zamasu, described as a mixture of incredible power with a deteriorating, yet immortal, body and unhinged mind.
