This September, Disney+ will release several Pixar short films. Dug Days, a series of five films about Up’s dog, directed by Up’s co-director Bob Peterson, will premiere on Sept. 1st. In addition to Twenty-Something, a 2D short directed by Aphton Corbin, two additional SparkShorts will be released in the next week, on Sept. 10 and Sept. 17, respectively.

Anime Shows are Coming In September

Apparently, the entire internet hated Q-Force because of its initial teaser. Therefore, the second trailer gives a stronger indication of the show’s aspirations. However, to inject the super-spy genre with a campy yet ultimately uplifting LGBTQ+ perspective. If this program, developed mostly by LGBTQ+ writers, performers, and artists, succeeds at what it’s attempting to do rather than collapsing into offensiveness as folks initially imagined it was, one hopes people would give it a chance.

Adventure Time Distant lands – wizard City

Wizard City, the concluding hour-long special in the four-part Adventure Time: Distant Lands series, has a lot to live up to following the emotional gut punches of Obsidian and Together Again. Rather than expecting anything more than a nice time with Peppermint Butler, Ooo’s creepiest candy person. However, who is now a child learning wizardry, perhaps we should just enjoy ourselves and let Adam Muto and the rest of the Adventure Time crew surprise us. Now that the Fionna and Cake series has been greenlit, this special no longer bears the pressure of being the last Adventure Time animation ever made.

Teenage Euthanasia

Due to the expiration of its rights to the FOX animation collection, Adult Swim is investing in additional half-hour episodes that have the potential to reach a wide audience. However, teenage Euthanasia is a family sitcom with a somber undertone. Therefore, euthanasia Fantasy (her friends call her “Annie”) lives at the Tender Endings Funeral Home, and her single mother Trophy is now a revived corpse looking for a second chance. Therefore, adult Swim will air a preview episode on Sept. 5 at midnight ET/PT, followed by the series’ formal premiere on Sept. 19 at midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim.

Kid Cosmic Season 2

This new series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken is inspired in part by The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. However, unlike that film’s teaser at the conclusion of Season 1 wasn’t a joke. In Season 2, Mo’s Oasis Cafe is now in outer space, and team leader Jo has a major role in the story. Therefore, she squares off against the Galactus-like monster Erodius the Planet Killer. Therefore, a third season, featuring the old hippy Papa G, has already been announced.

DreamWorks Television Animation did a fantastic job with She-Ra. The Princesses of Power despite the inane fan issues that have plagued other recent MOTU shows. However, there’s reason to believe this new program will do the same.
