Hollywood best friends Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are the lead actors in the Bad Boys franchise. Bad Boys for Life is the third instalment in the Bad Boys franchise. Bad Boys and Bad Boys 2 are the first two.
The film tells the story of two detectives, Detective Mike (Will Smith) and Detective Marcus (Martin Lawrence). However, the two were involved in executing drug cartel Kingpin Benito. In this movie, his wife Isabel Aretas (Kate del Castillo) decided to take revenge on her late husband and ordered her son Armando Aretas (Jacob Scipio) to avenge his father’s death by killing both the detectives.
The film takes a twist in the end revealing very important details about Detective Mike. Moreover, the movie is entertaining on many fronts. There’s action and comedy with a good sense of humour.

Bad Boys for Life has an IMDB rating of 6.5/10.
The Guardian rated the movie a 3 out of 5. Their review states that the story of the movie is dumb but there is a lot of entertainment. Mainly because we see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence together after 17 years.
