That is the exact question the teenage boys of Wellton academy had asked their English professor Mr Keating. Deads Poets Society is a 1989 American teen comedy-drama film, starring Robin Williams. The movie is set in 1959 at the fictional elite conservative Vermont boarding school Welton Academy. It tells the story of an English teacher who inspires his students through his teaching of poetry.

The school has a set of rules and follows strict discipline throughout the year. However, this new English professor does not fit into the set of rules. The unorthodox English professor takes the students by surprise. The movie beautifully narrates how an ideal teacher should be. The movie even this year is relatable due to this one fact.
