Great Pretender moves from city to city, chronicling Makoto’s exploits in the realm of international high-stakes fraud with the crafty Laurent and his colorful companions. Makoto soon discovers that he got more than he bargained for when his self-proclaimed abilities are put to the test on a regular basis.
