“Poor Specimen” The pressure of life is bound to come; no one can escape it. At one point or the other, each one of us will come under pressure whether we like it or not. There is all kind of pressure: financial, physical, marital, etc. sometimes you are pressured for time; you have so much to do with little time to do them.

“ANYONE THAT CANNOT STAND THE PRESSURE OF LIFE IS A POOR SPECIMEN”

The workload is a real and common pressure we daily encounter but no matter what; we must know how to handle them so as not to be pressed down. If pressures are not carefully handled, they lead to depression/stress which affects health, lead to all kinds of sicknesses and may eventually terminate life.

Why do pressures come?

It is a natural consequence of human development. Moving from one stage of life to other provokes pressure. For instance, a student writing an examination naturally comes under pressure as a result of anxiety to pass. The adult undergoes the pressure of how to make ends meet, how to be successful and after being successful; how to sustain it. Pressure will always come at every stage of life especially if you hold a viable position in your workplace or you are a person people look up to.

Whatever it is, learn to take things easy. No amount of anxiety can solve one’s problem. It can only succeed in wearing one out and cutting one’s life short. Just do your best and leave the rest for God. Find a genuine solution. Problems do not go by themselves, solutions have to be discovered but in seeking solution, your approach and method count. So, take time to think, to plan, and also to pray very well. Know that the problem will not be with you forever; it will surely go. Problems of life come to test our strength; they are not meant to kill us; if we handle them well; they will disappear.
