His Dark Materials, a series of the novel has finally arrived as an iconic fantasy series. This incredible HBO and BBC One show come with an amazing trip of action, fantasy creatures, finding of truth and more twists and turns that you never imagine.

The first two episodes of the series focus on a young teenage girl named Lyra Belacqua, who lives with scholars at Jordan College, Oxford. She travels in a world just like her own; everyone there has an animal familiar known as daemons, which are a demonstration of the human soul. Lyra uncovers some dangerous secret that involves her uncle, Lord Asriel, a polar explorer, and a female adventure Marisa Coulter, who offers to train as her protege. In the search of her missing friends Roger Parslow and a Gyptian boy, Billy Costa, Lyra discovers various kidnapping events and their links to the mysterious substance known as “Dust”.

The adaptation of Philip Pullman’s novel, the series shows various twists and turns along with some interesting changes from the original story.
