Jims Henson completed his graduation in Home economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Since childhood Henson had a creative personality. He starts developing puppets from his high school and while he was studying in the first year of his college he created a popular short comedy show “Sam and Friends” on television.
After completing graduation, he produced a coffee advertisement and several experimental movies. In 1958, he founded Muppets. He with his creative team appeared in the comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live”.
In 1976, he released his well-known TV show “The Muppet Show”. People around the world knew him for his excellent cartoon characters such as Emie, Kermit the Frog and Rowif the Dog. He also won two Emmy awards for “The Storyteller” (Live action puppet series) and “The Jim Henson Series” (Television series).
