Washington as Malcolm, who plays like a film director, a self-centered man made a brilliant performance on the screen.
He is an American actor and former American football running back. His breakthrough came playing Ron Stallworth in Spike Lee’s 2018 crime film BlacKkKlansman, for which he received both Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. In 2020, he starred in Christopher Nolan’s science fiction action-thriller film Tenet.
Zendave as Marie, the girlfriend of film director Malcolm. She has a troubling past involving her addiction to drugs and severe depression. Marie used to overcome her issues but she hasn’t fully healed from it.
She began her career as a child model and backup dancer before gaining prominence for her role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up.
They both characters protrays excellent chemistry on-screen despite their age difference and shines with their performance.
