What is the plot of the series?

The story shows the journey of college students as they navigate through life, friendship, and love. It focuses on two young characters Dimple and Rishi whose life concepts and thinking are different from each other.

Dimple is an intelligent girl and a tech wizard. She wants to learn Java and other programming languages and become a technology star.

On the other hand, Rishi is a romantic guy who believes in a 60s romance and wants to find the true love of his life.

Both of them take admission in a 103-year-old school and coincidently become a partner in an app-making contest that provides them a good internship.

Dimple as a tech lover always thinks and talks about the app and Rishi wants to impress Dimple. Both develop an app, dealing with friends, professor and others. Rishi tries all possible ways to make a special place in her heart. But Dimple never thinks in that way.

Are the two mismatched people become a perfect match? Is Dimple’s view towards Rishi changes? Will they succeed in landing their dream project, while dealing with friends, bullies, a snooty professor, and each other? Netflix’s new romantic drama will show you the results.

Who is the cast of the series? 

Director Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari added some new stars in the series, made under the banner of Ronnie Screwvala’s production house RSVP Movies.

Prajakta Koli as Dimple Ahuja, the famous YouTube star will be playing the lead role in the series. Her character is a studious type of personality who is less interested in love affairs. She is a well-known artist on YouTube and known by the name of Mostlysane on several social media channels.

Rohit Saraf as Rishi Shekhawat, a popular Bollywood actor plays the role of the romantic boy in the series. He is the lead actor in the series who like Dimple in the series and want to impress her. Rohit appeared in several Bollywood movies such as The Sky is Pink, Dear Zindagi, Hichki, and others.

Rannvijay Singha as Professor Siddharth Sinha, an Indian actor, famous television personality, and VJ, plays the role of teacher or mentor in the series. He challenged students to make an interesting app that provides them a cool internship.

The other characters that join the team along with them are Vihaan Samat as Harsh, Taaruk Raina as Anmol, Kritika Bharadwaj as Simran, Muskkaan Jaferi as Celina, Devyani Shorey as Namrataand Abhinav Sharma, Abhinav Sharma as Krish.

Six-episode Mismatched series was released on Netflix on November 20, 2020. You can choose subscription plans according to your choice.
