Even though it is just November, Christmas is already making an appearance on streamers. We’re treated movies and shows to stream on weekends. However, the following month will see plenty more snow-capped movies and TV shows arrive on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO Max. This week, all of your favorite streamers have a plethora of new additions. The Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as well as the Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson-led Jungle Cruise, are among the new Disney films to enjoy this weekend, thanks to Disney Plus Day.

Red Notice, a heist comedy starring the Rock, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds, is now on Netflix if you’re looking for more of the Rock. Meanwhile, Passing, a festival favorite, is now available on Netflix, while Ad Astra, a Brad Pitt science fiction thriller, is now available on Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom. Red Notice


Interpol sends a global notice (also known as a Red Notice) in Red Notice to track down and apprehend the world’s most sought art thief. Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot portray rival criminals, while Dwayne Johnson plays the FBI’s top profiler, and the three meet during a daring heist. Rawson Marshall Thurber directed the movie.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings


In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the title character (Simu Liu) is forced to confront his past when his estranged father (Tony Leung) recruits him and his sister (Meng’er Zhang) for a dangerous mission and lures them back into his Ten Rings organization. Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Short Term 12 and Just Mercy, directed the film stars Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, and Benedict Wong.

Jungle Cruise


Emily Blunt stars as a researcher who travels to the Amazon in pursuit of an ancient tree with curative properties that could revolutionize medicine forever in Jungle Cruise. She enlists the assistance of Frank (Dwayne Johnson), a ramshackle captain with plenty of wisecracks. Things don’t go as planned in this film, which is based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name. A lot of dangers and mysterious powers lurk within the rainforest.


Passing is now available on Netflix, following its success at film festivals. Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga star as mixed-race childhood pals who rejoin in adulthood in this period drama. Both ladies ‘pass’ as white in New York City in the 1920s, but chose to live on opposing sides of the color line. The film marks actor Rebecca Hall’s directorial debut, and it is based on Nella Larsen’s novel of the same name.

The Shrink Next Door 


Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Kathryn Hahn feature in this new miniseries from Georgia Pritchett, who also wrote and produced Succession. It’s based on Joe Nocera’s popular podcast of the same name, and it follows a psychiatrist (Rudd) who begins to integrate himself into one of his patients’ lives (Ferrell). The first three episodes are already available, with the rest of the series to be released on Fridays.

Ad Astra


Brad Pitt stars as an astronaut on a perilous mission to discover the truth about his father’s disappearance and his fatal mission to find alien life, which now threatens to have devastating implications 30 years later. Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, and Donald Sutherland feature in the meditative sci-fi film directed by James Gray, who also directed The Lost City of Z.
