It is an upcoming fantasy-action TV series based on the book series of the same name, written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. It is a fantasy television series of eight short stories and novels about the protagonist character “Geralt of Rivia”. Witchers like Geralt are monster hunters who fight off deadly beasts after having gained supernatural powers.
The Witcher Storyline
The Witcher story focus on a solitary monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three central characters: Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan (The War of the Worlds) as Ciri, Princess of Cintra, and Anya Chalotra (The ABC Murders) must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
The Witcher Release Date
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, “The Witcher” will premiere on Netflix till the end of 2019. Although the TV series is not released yet, the fans tweet on Twitter to show their enthusiasm and hopes for the project.
