Carnaval– It is a 2021 Brazilian comedy film directed by Leandro Neri and starring Lipy Adler, Nikolas Antunes, and Giovana Cordeiro. It written by Peu Barbalho, Audemir Leuzinger, Luisa Mascarenhas, and Leandro Neri.
On 3rd June
Dancing Queens – Max Ulveson, Rakel Wärmländer, and Molly Nutley feature in this 2021 Swedish film directed by Helena Bergström and written by Helena Bergström and Denize Karabuda.
On 4th June
Sweet & Sour – It is a South Korean romantic comedy film released in 2021, based on Kurumi Inui’s novel Initiation Love. The film, directed by Lee Gye-byeok and starring Jang Ki-Yong, Chae Soo-bin, and Krystal Jung, tells the tale of a couple who fell in love at first sight but drifted away owing to a professional assignment.
Trippin’ with the Kandasamys – It is a 2021 film directed by Jayan Moodley and starring Mariam Bassa, Maeshni Naicker, and Jailoshini Naidoo, and written by Rory Booth and Jayan Moodley.
Xtreme – It is a Spanish film directed by Daniel Benmayor and starring Oscar Jaenada, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, and Oscar Casas. It written by Teo Garca, Ivan Ledesma, and Genaro Rodriguez and released in 2021.
On 9th June
Awake – Mark Raso directed Awake, a 2021 American science fiction action film based on a script he co-wrote with Joseph Raso. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Barry Pepper, Finn Jones, Shamier Anderson, Ariana Greenblatt, Frances Fisher, Elias Edraki, Lucius Hoyos, and Gil Bellows feature in the film. Netflix released the film on June 9, 2021. It has had a mixed to poor reception from critics.
Tragic Jungle – Indira Rubie Andrewin, Gilberto Barraza, and Mariano Tun Xool feature in this 2021 Spanish film directed by Yulene Olaizola and written by Rubén Imaz and Yulene Olaizola.
On 11th June
Skater Girl – Manjari Makijany directs Skater Girl, an upcoming Indian-American coming-of-age sports drama film. Newcomers Rachel Sanchita Gupta and Shafin Patel join the cast, which also feature Amrit Maghera, Jonathan Readwin, and Waheeda Rehman. Manjari and Vinati Makijany co-wrote the screenplay and co-produced the film through their Indian production business Mac Productions.
On 18th June
Jagame Thandhiram – Karthik Subbaraj’s coming Tamil-language action thriller film is written and directed by him. And, supposed to hit theatres on May 1, 2020, but postponed indefinitely owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the filmmakers had intended to distribute the picture only in theatres, they changed their minds in February 2021, opting instead for global digital distribution on Netflix in 17 languages, including dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
On 23rd June
Good on Paper – It is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Kimmy Gatewood, based on a script by Iliza Shlesinger. Rebecca Rittenhouse, Ryan Hansen, Margaret Cho, and Shlesinger feature in the film.
On 30th June
America: The Motion Picture – It is a satirical adult animated science-fiction comedy film directed by Matt Thompson and written by Dave Callaham, set in 2021 and loosely based on the Founding Fathers of the United States and the American Revolution. An R-rated untold historically accurate recounting of George Washington’s war against the British, narrated by Channing Tatum.
