Mindhunter coming back with more exciting and thriller in new season


As season 2 of Mindhunter has already been released on August 16, 2019, fans are wondering about its third venture. The crime drama and psychological thriller created by Joe Penhall based on book Mindhunter were very much successful in its first and second season.

Season 2 got a very good response from the audience, so there must be a plan in the mind of the director about the sequel. The Writer John Penhall and star Holt McCallny told that the team hoping and planning to get a five-season bible of the show.

When Mindhunter Season 3 hit on Netflix?

No announcement is made by Netflix and Mindhunter team about the premiere date of psychological thriller drama Season 3.

But as season one was released on October 13, 2017, and Season 2 on August 16, 2019, after a two-year gap.  So it is expected that Season 3 will surely hit the streaming platform in 2021.

Will shooting of Season 3 started?

No confirmed news has released by Netflix yet. But the previous season of the series filmed in the time interval of April to December 2018. So, it is expected that the new season will also take the time of approximately eight months or more.

Who will be part of Mindhunter Season 3 cast?

New season’s action and adventure will be handled by our favorite FBI agent Jonathan Goff as Holden Ford and Holt McCallany as Bill Tench.

 Apart from this, the psychologists of the Behavioral Science Unit Anna Torv as Wendy Carr also reprise their role in Season 3 cast.

Cameron Britten, a real-life serial killer Ed Kemper expected to make an appearance in season 3. Along with other cast members that are Stacy Roca, Bill’s wife (Nancy Tench), Michael Cerveris as Ted Gunn and Joe Tuttle as Greg Smith.

 What will happen in the new season of series?

Playwright Joe Penhall is inspired by non-fiction book “Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit” and decides to dramatize the story for the television screen. He filmed the first two seasons and the characters of the Netflix series according to the book.

So, it is expected that his upcoming season 3 storyline and characters also follow the book and show the development in criminal profile in the Mid-80s.
