Everyone’s favourite Bollywood and Hollywood couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have named their daughter.
The couple announced in January that they have become parents to their first child via surrogacy. Actress, model, singer and restaurant owner Priyanka Chopra married 29-year old American singer Nick Jonas in December 2018 in Jodhpur.
American entertainment website TMZ received the birth certificate of the baby and said the couple has named their baby Maltie Marie Chopra Jonas. The famous pair did not reveal the meaning behind the name. But Malti is Sanskrit for “small fragrant flower” or “moonlight,”
She was born on 15th January at a hospital in San Diego.
As we all know Priyanka Chopra always has been multitasking and also being good at it and with a baby on board she is working more hard towards her goals.
Currently, she is working on many projects. She will be seen in Jim Strouse-directed rom-com Text For You and the Amazon thriller series Citadel. Russo Brothers are producing the series. Priyanka is also co-producing an unscripted series with her husband Nick. She will also produce a film with Amazon Studios on the life of Ma Anand Sheela who was the former aide to late godman Osho Rajneesh.
There is talk of Priyanka in the movie Jee Le Zara with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Farhan Akhtar will be directing that movie.
