Tanu weds Manu’s actor R Madhavan’s son has secured a gold medal at the Danish Open in Copenhagen. The 16-year-old boy has won a gold medal in the men’s 800m freestyle swimming.
Vedaant won a silver medal in the 1500m freestyle at the same meet. He has won a total of 7 medals at the Junior National Aquatic Championships in Bengaluru where he represented Maharashtra. That includes a total of 4 silver and 3 bronze.
Many celebrities took to social media to congratulate the winner and his proud father. Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty were among them.
Priyanka Chopra took to Twitter and wrote, “Wohooo! Congratulations @VedaantMadhavan! That’s an amazing feat! Keep trailblazing! Congratulations @ActorMadhavan and Sarita,”
Shilpa Shetty also congratulated the actor on her Twitter account. “Winning for the Tricolour with flying colours. Take a bow, @ActorMadhavan @msaru1! Job well done.”
Music composer Ghibran took to Twitter to write, “Like father, like son.”
Dia Mirza also congratulated them on her Instagram.
R Madhavan like a proud father has written encouraging words for his son in one of his posts. “Thank you for beating me at almost everything I am good at and making me jealous yet, my heart swells with pride. I have to learn so much from you my boy,” he wrote.
