The story of the season is set two years later the first one and once again centers around Reacher. It starts with a coded message warning that Reacher received.
This message is to inform him that his former US military colleagues have been brutally murdered one by one. He then decides to collaborate with their previous old partners to solve the case and find the mystery behind the murders.
