Dr. Shawn Murphy is back holding the same prestigious position as the doctor. He received his first Golden Globe Award nomination for this role. ABC has premiered Season 4 aired on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 10 PM. The TV series is based on the 2013 award-winning South Korean series of the same name.

What is the plot of season 4?
The story revolves around the brilliant young surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome Dr. Shaun Murphy, who left behind his life in rural Washington and looked forward to a higher opportunity to serve as the doctor in the prestigious St. Bonaventure Hospital in San Jose, California.
He recruited into the surgical unit, but his colleagues seem unwelcoming to him. He used his extraordinary medical skills to treat his patients and also win the hearts of the audience from the last three seasons.
In season 4 Shaun Murphy comes with facing new responsibilities as a fourth-year resident when he put in charge and leads a new set of the team against all odds. Being in charge and become the supervisor is challenging as his team test him in ways he can’t imagine.
Meanwhile, when the Covid- 19 pandemics hit the hospital, the team couldn’t aware of the new virus and feel pressure to deal with Covid 19. The series also portrays his romantic relationship with Lea plays by Paige Spara in upcoming episodes.
Seasons 3 ends with the tragic incident of our beloved character Dr. Melendez, played by Nicholas Gonzalez who died due to septic shock from injuries he suffered from the devastating earthquake. The death shook the audience that his favorite character won’t be a part of next season.

It will be heartbreaking for the fans that Nicholas Gonzalez won’t be a part of season 4 as Dr. Melendez.
Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy is one of the central characters of the series will be returning as the young surgeon. He is fortunate enough to treat his patients with special skills and challenge the suspicion of his colleagues.
