The lockdown can be a challenging time for many especially those who are stuck all alone. These unprecedented times have decided to stay much longer than we expected it to and so it can be mentally and emotionally challenging. Apart from doing meditation or some form of physical exercise, here is a list of 15 things you can do when you are alone to uplift your mood while you are craving for some company too.

1. COOK YOUR FAVOURITE DISH 

Cooking is also considered to be a therapy. When you cook your favorite dish and treat yourself you feel happy. The preparation of the dish engages and excites you and while you eat it, it can surely pump you up. 

What can be more fun is face-timing your mom while you make the dish so that you don’t feel alone. This way you can hit two targets first being having someone’s company and second being impressing your mom with your cooking skills!

2. PLAY VIDEO GAMES WITH FRIENDS 

If you like video games, then playing games with your friends can be a good outlet to kill boredom. Multiplayer games like Fortnite, Valorant, etc can keep you glued for long hours. Most of the games are available on PC, laptop, MAC, and even mobile phones now making it accessible and handy!

As people say books are your best friends and if you love reading there is nothing better than this. Not only will it engage you but enrich your vocabulary as well.

4. DRESS UP 

Like cooking your favorite dishes even dressing up can be a good refresher. Dress up in your favorite clothes, click pictures, and feel happy. Getting ready can uplift your mood. It is a must-try and will also divert your mind. 

5. CALL, TEXT OR VIDEO CALL YOUR FRIENDS

This being one of the most recommended things to do. Talking to friends can lighten and brighten up your mood.
