Netflix dropped the documentary Blackpink: Light up the Sky on the meteoric rise of four South Korean girls Jennie, Jisoo, Rose and Lisa released on October 14, 2020. The movie dives into the journey of four young girls, how much sacrifice they paid off, their experience with working with YG production, the hardship they put off for many years to become a global sensation, and reminiscent of the training regimens they follow to make their dreams come true. The documentary features the behind-the-scenes footage, a first look at the authentic recording process of the album made by the band, their day-to-day realities of the stars when the spotlight on or out. 

The director also brings the honest and exclusive interviews of the single band member of the group. It also features their personal experiences on how they face the current with the pressure and expectations and high and low in their life to being a K-pop idol group. 

The Princess Switch: Switched Again

The sequel of the 2018 movie “The Princess Switch”, The Princess Switch: Switched Again once again comes back with a brilliant star cast and storyline on Netflix. Director Mike Rohl shows the events that happened several months later of the first one. Stacy becomes the Princess of Belgravia and Margaret is becoming the queen of Montenaro after her father’s death. Due to queen responsibilities, Margaret ended her relationship with Kevin. The twist in the Hollywood movies arises when a third lookalike “Fiona” appeared in the movie and wants the crown of the queen and loots the royal treasury to live a happy life.

American Utopia, an American concert movie of David Byrne’s brings the Talking Heads frontman’s critically acclaimed Broadway show to HBO. In a one-of-a-kind film directed by Oscar and Emmy-winner Spike Lee. Recorded during its late 2019 to early 2020 run at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre in New York City. On the Record is a 2020 documentary film that puts forward the serious subjects of the sexual assault and harassment against hip hop mogul Russell Simmons. Oscar-nominated filmmakers Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick, the documentary’s key witness A&R exec and Drew Dixon released on HBO Max. The movie features interviews with some of the over 20 women who have accused him. Including Sil Lai Abrams, Sherri Hines, Jenny Lumet, and Alexia Norton Jone. It is the story of four African American Vets – Paul, Otis, Eddie, and Melvin- who return to Vietnam. They came to Vietnam city, to search the remains of their fallen Squad Leader (Chadwick) as well as buried treasure. They joined man named Paul’s concerned son (Jonathan Majors), the battle forces of Man and Nature helped them to hide.
