Popular Movies Like Harry Potter. How many of you watch the Harry Potter movie? I personally love “Part 4: The Goblet of Fire” movie and I think you also liked this and its various other parts. Based on famous British author J.K Rowling fantasy novels, the movie contains various interesting scenes and dialogs such as the magical spells and the broom ride that many of you tried at home.

1. Little Women (2019)
Based on: Louisa May Alcott 1868 novel of the same name
Greta Gerwig, one of the famous directors and writers of the 21st century, did full justice to the Louis May Alcott novel. By slightly twisted the story presenting Jo is the author of the novel, Greta makes the story refresh which deleted its real charm. Due to the phenomenal acting of its cast and exceptionally well scenes, the movie receives six nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards.
Little Women is the story of Josephine “Jo” March, who is a teacher in New York City and also writes books. Jo is worried about her sister Amy’s drunken behavior. One day, Jo receives a letter that her younger sister’s health degraded day by day. She decides to go back to their old house with other sisters. The comeback changes their lives and Jo also printed a book titled “Little Women”.

2. Psycho (1960)
Based on: Robert Bloch’s 1959 novel of the same name
One of the best Psychological thriller movie “Psycho” shows the encounter between a secretary, who ends up at a hidden motel after looting money from her employer, and the motel’s owner and its aftermath.
Directed by Joseph Stefano and Alfred Hitchcock did some small changes in the characters of the original novel. They convert the Normal Bates character from an alcoholic person to the most dangerous and hair-raising character.

3. The Disaster Artist (2017)
Based on: Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell’s 2013 book of the same title
Disaster Artist is the story of an aspiring actor Greg Sestero who meets the mysterious and weird person Tommy Wiseau in an acting class where they both develop a strong friendship and decides to travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true.
The movie depicts the character and storyline of the novel so well, that it becomes the best biographical comedy movie of 2017.
4. Eight Men Out (1988)
Based on: Eliot Asinof’s 1963 book Eight Men Out: The Black Sox
1988 baseball drama “Eight Men Out” shows the eight underpaid members of Chicago White Cox conspired to lose the 1919 World Series as a part of the deal with the gamblers.
The movie shows the biggest sports scandal of the history known as “The Black Sox Scandal” in a visually breathtaking style.
5. Hidden Figures (2016)
Based on: Margot Lee Shetterly 2016 book of the same name
Hidden figures tells the story of three African-American female mathematics (Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson) that worked on the US space program and played an important role in an astronaut (John Glenn) launch into orbit.
The movie presents the novel story fantastically, putting light on the struggle of black women to be seen as intellectual equals.
6. The Godfather (1972)
Based on: Mario Puzo 1969 novel of the same name
The top-rated crime movie “The Godfather” shows the chronicles of the family under the patriarch Vito Corleone, center on the conversion of Pacino from reluctant family outsider to a ruthless mafia boss.
Director Francis Ford Coppola converts Mario Puzo’s dark, thriller, and entertaining novel into a must-watch and Oscar-winning film.

Based on: Harinder Sikka book Calling Sehmat
Raazi is a true story of a Kashmiri Indian spy who married to a Pakistani army family and sends some important and confidential information about India so that the country prepares for its consequences previously.
Meghna Gulzar, one of the famous directors of Bollywood Popular movies, brilliantly covers every character from the novel and converts the story of the movie, a historical one.
8. Contact (1997)
Based on: Carl Sagan’s novel of the same name
The science-fiction movie “Contact” is the story of a radio astronomer Dr. Ellie who found an intelligent alien through radio signals. She with her group of scientists decoded the instructions that they send to build a machine.
Film the biggest hit of that time and earn multiple awards and nominations at the Saturn Award. The movie also receives Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
9. 3 idiots (2009)
Based on: Chetan Bhagat novel Five Point Someone
Rajkumar Hirani directed comedy movie “3 idiots” is the story of three boys, who become friends in engineering college and face various problems in an engineer’s life as well as other phases of their life.
Made with some twists in the novel, the comedy movie touches various serious and important points of a person’s life such as the race for marks, struggles to fulfill parents’ dreams, and others. It teaches various good lessons about life.
10. Schindler’s List (1993)
Based on: Thomas Keneally’s novel Schindler’s Ark
The well-written iconic historical period drama “Schindler’s List” focuses on the life of Oskar Schindler, a well-known businessman, who saved the lives of thousands of Polish-Jewish refugees at the time of the Holocaust by giving them a job in his factories. It is the best emotional piece produced in cinema. It strongly shows the brutal incidents of history and also reminds how bad humans can be and good things always survive.
