Marvel superhero, Robert Downey Jr. is coming in a new movie “Dolittle” with Stephen Gaghan (Traffic) on the director chair. Based on the character, Doctor Dolittle created by Hugh Lofting is an upcoming fantasy-adventure written by Thomas Shepherd.
Primarily known as “The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle”, this interesting new drama includes Oscar-nominated voice cast and other actors. The storyline of the movie focus on a physician (Dr. John Dolittle), who can talk with animals. After the death of his wife, seven years earlier, the famous doctor and veterinarian in Victoria England, shut himself in the high walls of Dolittle house, away from the rest of the world with only animals for company. The twisted journey of the movie began when a young Queen Victoria Falls gravely ill and he had no choice to fly to the mystical island in search of a cure. In his adventurous way, he crosses old adversaries and wonderful creatures. He joined by animal friends and young apprentices on this journey.
