Expat Season One: Plot
Set in Hong Kong, the story of this new series focuses on three women named Margaret, Hilary, and Mercy. It shows the impact of an apocalyptic family tragedy that changed the lives of three of them.
Margaret who is an architect by profession becomes a housewife after a shocking incident. She is haunted by the long disappearance of her younger boy. She tries to find out whether he is alive or not but she does not get anything.
Hilary, an Indian-American expat and good friend and neighbor of Margaret has her own problems and issues. She is facing her declining marriage to her husband surrounded by unfaithfulness and infertility.
The third one is a young twenty-something girl named Mercy. She is a Korean-American expats who do odd jobs in Hong Kong and her impulsive and short-tempered behavior creates problems for both Margaret and Hilary.
The series shows the intersection of womanhood, grief, and geographic displacement in the lives of three women. It is a powerful series that is good to watch episode by episode.

Set in a small community of affluent expats, the series contains six episodes. Out of which, two episodes are released today and the next episodes are released every Friday.
