Every once in a while good series are made. Series that remain with us forever. The direction, the story, the casting, the sound everything is just perfect. Even the end of the series is just 10/10. We feel content. Breaking Bad is one of those series I am so wholeheartedly talking about.
But this article isn’t about Breaking Bad, but about another wonderful series, it gave rise to- Better Call Saul. That’s right! Better Call Saul is one of the trending series on NETFLIX right now here’s why.
What is BREAKING BAD?
Breaking Bad is an American neo-Western crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The show aired on AMC from January 20, 2008, to September 29, 2013, consisting of five seasons for a total of 62 episodes.
The show is about a high school chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) who is highly qualified in his subject but quite underpaid. He is soon diagnosed with stage-3 lung cancer and is met with financial problems. Walter White is the kind of guy who cannot watch violent videos, does not abuse, cares for the family kind of guy but due to certain circumstances, he is needed to deal with drug dealers and violence to keep his family safe.
His partner in crime Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is Walter’s old student, very much disinterested in chemistry but very fond of drugs. Walter reaches out to Jesse to help him quit and ends up being the mastermind who eventually runs a drug cartel!

Now if you have already watched the show then hooray you can proceed to read about Better Call Saul…but if you haven’t then I insist please do! (You can still read the rest of the article tho)
How are the two shows related?
As I said earlier Better Call Saul is a sequel to Breaking Bad. Saul Goodman was Walter White’s lawyer in Breaking Bad. And being his lawyer he has done things that a drug mafia’s lawyer would need to do.
The first season of Better Call Saul premiered on February 8, 2015. And with the release of the sixth and the final season will finally bring the story of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene Takovic (played by Bob Odenkirk) to an end. The series follows Jimmy McGill, who would eventually become Saul Goodman. It is set in 2002, six years before he became Walter White’s lawyer in Breaking Bad.

The latest episode of Better Call Saul shocked even the most hardcore fans of the Breaking Bad universe. The show, which is currently in its sixth and final season, had a stunning moment in its third episode, with Nacho Varga departing the series (and his fictional life) on his terms.
And now fans are more excited to see what happens next!
