We must have read many engaging books when we were kids. And the best part is when those books get their own films. Isn’t it exciting to finally see someone play our favourite character?
There is one more addition to such films with Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules
Rodrick Rules is an upcoming Disney movie and a second instalment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series for kids. For those who haven’t read the book, here’s an overview of the movie. This is an American fiction book series created by author and cartoonist Jeff Kinney.
The book series then moved on to become a media franchise of the same name. Originally the book was released online, but after receiving a positive response, Diary of a Wimpy Kid turned into print series in April 2007. The book series has in total sixteen books.
Since the release of the online version, many books have been turned into film series. Some have also been made into musicals. Rodrick Rules is the second instalment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series. The first book focuses on the lead Greg Heffley and his attempts to become popular in school.
